Soyang Gotaek's story began in the summer of 2010 with the preservation of three 180-year-old hanok houses from Gochang and Muan,
carefully dismantled and relocated to save them from demolition.
Restored by master craftsmen specializing in cultural heritage,
'Soyang Gotaek' has been transformed into a Hanok cultural experience center,
showcasing the timeless beauty of traditional Korean aesthetics and art.
Soyang Gotaek not only preserves the elegance of traditional Hanok but also offers diverse experiences.
From Hanok stays and food and beverage services to the development of cultural and artistic content,
as well as traditional culture education, it serves as a vibrant hub for sharing Korean heritage.
In 2021, Soyang Gotaek was proudly selected as a Korean Tourism Quality Certification Company (Korea Quality),
guaranteeing high-quality services and exceptional spaces for visitors.
